    Every action we take is geared towards reducing our environmental footprint.

    We're aiming for a circular economy that is a break from the extract, produce, use and throw away model. Plastic material must be recovered, recycled and reused as much as possible. All our actions, from sourcing to production, are intended to make respectful and responsible use of natural resources and energy.

      Thanks to the participation of citizens and companies, we gather PET plastic from selective collection.
    • Extrusion

      From the collection bin to our extrusion department, the resource is integrated to be decontaminated and transformed into food grade plastic sheeting.
    • Production

      The packaging is manufactured from 100% recycled RPET material in our automated and sterile facilities.
    • Use

      Ecofriendly packaging is put back on the shelves of retailers and food manufacturers.
    • Recycling

      Packaging is placed in the household recycling bin and redirected to sorting centers.
    • Reuse

      The sorted, cleaned and crushed material is ready for a new life.

      Recycled or compostable material

      All Tilton products are made from 100% recycled, recyclable or certified compostable materials. Our unique North American facilities allow for the reintroduction of scrap material into the production line to reduce waste.

      Ecoresponsible factories

      Every day, we use materials with a reduced environmental footprint, renewable energy from hydroelectric sources, efficient heat recovery systems and free cooling. The cooling water for our processes is in a closed loop. Tilton plants do not put waste into the environment.

      Preservation of the natural environment

      In all our activities, we are very respectful of the environment. The sites of our plants also reflect this priority. We choose wooded areas that we carefully conserve and that provide our employees with a wonderful work environment.
